1. Who We Are

This Privacy Policy explains how KeenByte ("we", "us", "our") handles information when you visit keenbyte.top (the "Website"). KeenByte is a free browser game platform: we do not require an account, and we do not ask you to provide your name, email address or payment details in order to play.

For the purposes of the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation, KeenByte acts as the data controller for the limited processing described in this policy. Third-party game providers and advertising vendors act as independent controllers for the data they collect through their own content.

2. Information We Collect

We deliberately keep data collection to a minimum. The categories below describe everything we and our providers collect.

• Data stored in your browser (localStorage): Your favorite games, achievements, recently played games, language preference and any reviews you write are saved on your own device under keys prefixed with keenbyte_ and reviews_. This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to us.
• Server and CDN logs: Like almost all websites, our hosting provider automatically records technical request data such as your IP address, browser type and version, operating system, referring page, requested URL and timestamp. These logs are used for security, abuse prevention and troubleshooting.
• Cookies and similar technologies: See section 4. We do not set advertising cookies ourselves, but third-party vendors may do so.
• Contact form submissions: If you use our contact form, we receive the information you choose to type into it (for example your name, email address and message) so that we can respond.

6. Third-Party Game Content

Games on the Website are hosted by third-party providers and are loaded into an embedded frame from external domains. When a game loads, your browser connects directly to that provider, which means the provider can receive your IP address and other technical data, and may set its own cookies or local storage.

These providers operate under their own privacy policies and terms. We do not control and are not responsible for their data practices. We encourage you to review a provider's privacy policy before playing if you have concerns.

12. Children's Privacy

The Website is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13 years of age (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction, such as 16 in parts of the EEA). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
